Al Tayer Motors Is Ford’s Fourth Largest Dealer

Ford Middle East has awarded Al Tayer Motors for achieving record sales in the United Arab Emirates during 2006.

 Al Tayer Motors and its subsidiary for Abu Dhabi, Premier Motors, recorded a combined 35 per cent growth across the three brands of the Ford Motor Company i.e. Ford, Lincoln and Mercury.

Al Tayer Motors registered a 30 per cent growth in sales and is currently ranked the fourth largest Ford dealer in the world, while its subsidiary – Premier Motors, representing Abu Dhabi and Al Ain market recorded an increase of 65 per cent. John L. Fitzpatrick, Director of Ford Motor Company's Export Operations & Global Growth Initiatives felicitated Al Tayer Motors at a ceremony during his recent visit to the UAE.

“Al Tayer Motors has shown tremendous commitment to the Ford brands in the past few years, and their impressive sales record is truly commendable,” said Fitzpatrick. 

“We are proud of our association with the Al Tayer family and are confident of their ongoing efforts and dedication to growing the Ford, Lincoln and Mercury customer base across the UAE.”

Speaking on the record sales growth, Saeed Al Tayer, Managing Director, Al Tayer Motors, said: “We are delighted that the hard work and dedication of all those involved has shown results.

Al Tayer Motors is gearing up to launch some exciting new cars in the region this year including the funky new Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX and Mercury’s all-new Milan sedan.
