Angham in swine flu panic
Angham is overwhelmed by fear of swine flu reaching her sons, two schoolchildren. Outbreaks have already shut down few schools in Cairo.
The Egyptian leading female singer is frequenting the school where Omar and Abdel Rahman are enrolled, checking firsthand the hygiene and sanitation of facilities, and the protective measures taken.
However, Angham said she wouldn’t bar them from going to school as long as it’s open.
Mass vaccination didn’t begin yet in Egypt. Pilgrims and health workers top the country’s official priorities. But Angham argues that it should be children who get the vaccine for their weak immunity.
