Haifa Wehbe dismissed reports of politically incorrect lyrics in her new children song, “Baba Fein?” (Where is Daddy?).

The song, now broadcasting in video format, has the controversial lyrics: “I want my teddy bear and Nubian monkey.”

The Lebanese sensation said she didn’t mean any offense, claiming that ‘Nubian monkey’ is just the name of a popular toy.

Speaking of Egyptian Nubians, Wehbe said she has only love and respect for them, along with all Egyptian communities, saying they are particularly good-natured.

She also made a gesture to “the great singer” Mohamed Mounir, a Nubian, as “enough evidence” of their admirable culture.

Meanwhile, Wehbe’s innuendos against Amr Diab have become more obvious.

Wehbe accuses Diab of ruing a project of hers and poaching the producer of her aborted TV show program at a critical time.
