Asala set to venture more into showbiz

We will soon see Asala as an actress and TV presenter.

Talking to MBC’s El Donia Ghenwa Life is a Song show, the Syrian leading singer said a movie to be directed by her husband, Tareq El Erian, will also be her acting debut.

The plot, she elaborated, loosely echoes her own biography, with the movie co-starring Khaled El Sawi, as her fictitious husband.

Asala also desires to become a TV presenter, but not before she is done with the movie. Asala seems to have a taste for variety, she is known for her multi-dialect singing; in Syrian, Egyptian and Arabian Gulf Arabic.
