Hosny Surveys on Captain Hima

Young singer pop star Tamer Hosny has turned necks over last ten days since his Captain Hima premier. Hosny has surprised movie goers with his evening field visits to theaters (and actually ticket offices) in Cairo downtown, Heliopolis, Nasr City and Al Haram. Hosny’s point is to survey movie goers’ opinions on the spot and to avoid mistakes in future movies. But this is, in fact, a Mohamed Saad’s tradition. 

Comedian Mohamed Saad has started a tradition of visiting movie theaters since his first Al Lemby, a tradition other actors are keen to keep up with. 

Captain Hima is conceived by Hosny, scripted by Ahmed Abdel Fattah, directed by Nasr Mahrous and co-stars Zeina.

Hosny is happy his Hima has returned 4.5 million Egyptian pounds so far over first week, a happening that has never occurred to movies that opened earlier over an average of 4-5 week showing.
