Carole Samaha to open Arab Media Festival under a No Dance condition
Carole Samaha was named by Cairo Arab Media Festival (CAMF) as the opening ceremony’s singer. CAMF is due from 11 to 16 November.
But directors of CAMF require that Samaha won’t dance onstage and rather stick to vocal performance.
According to the conditions, Samaha should restrain herself and consider the dignified manner the event assumes.
The Lebanese singer’s controversial moves onstage have stirred uproar many a time.
The Egyptian Music Professions Syndicate had banned Samaha’s live performances in Egypt following complaints of “provocative and too sexy” dancing at a concert she gave in Marina, North Coast.
But she was later pardoned upon apologizing.
